The Mumbai Cricket Association and the Maharashtra Cricket Association will investigate the Prithvi Shaw and Musheer Khan fight incident at the MCA Stadium in Gahunje, Pune.
Prithvi Shaw-Musheer Khan fight
Prithvi, who used to play for Mumbai until last season, was subjected to heavy sledging by many of his former Mumbai teammates during the warm-up match played in preparation for the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season.
After the opener was dismissed by Musheer Khan in the 74th over of the first innings, the bowler reportedly told Prithvi, “Thank you.” The Maharashtra batter got triggered and tried to hit Musheer with his bat and then tried to grab his collar. The umpires and players intervened, but things got so heated that Siddesh Lad continued to have a word with Prithvi.
