There’s no question that Brantley Gilbert has many tattoos, and the ink on his body means a lot to him. In fact, just as his music does, every work of art that appears on his skin—including his back, chest, and arms—reflects a part of his story, from his journey in faith to his personal struggles and much more.
“People get ‘em for a lot of reasons, but for most of us, tattoos talk about our victories and losses, our struggles and the whole nine,” Gilbert previously shared in an interview with Inked Magazine. “I was one of those kids who had to learn the hard way. But if I would’ve listened to the advice of others, I don’t know I would have ended up where I am.”

Gilbert, who has always remained transparent, raw, unfiltered, and unapologetic with his fan base, has incorporated his tattoos into his career in many ways. In 2024, the country-rock superstar released an album called Tattoos and supported the project with a tour of the same name. Now, the 40-year-old multi-platinum hitmaker is taking his love of body art to the next level with the release of a bold new line of headwear.
The high-quality exclusive collection, dubbed the Tattoo Series, debuted on October 2 and features seven custom-designed hats inspired by the tattoos Gilbert has received throughout his life, representing everything from his roots to his road life to his personal values. Gilbert teamed with apparel innovators Branded Bills to launch the new series, leaving his touch on the swag that will accommodate just about any hat-wearing lover and allow folks to take a piece of his personality and spirit along with them wherever they go.
The “My Kind of Crazy” singer-songwriter worked with his longtime friend and celebrated tattoo artist, Carl Grace, to come up with the one-of-a-kind designs for this collaborative collection, mirroring his personal style and no-holds-barred attitude on some pieces of headwear while showcasing his soft side on others.
The seven-piece product line, priced at $44.00 a cap, features something for everyone with both curved and flat bill options. Single colored hats range from Beige, Black, Desert, and Loden, while two-tone options include Beige and Vintage Black, Beige and Vintage Loden, and Beige and Vintage Navy.
There are 16 headwear options altogether featuring snapback closures and styles that range from flat performance to Canvas 5 panel and Canvas 5 panel rope. The designs of the seven hats are as follows: Tattoo Scroll, Portrait Piece, Artist Choice, The Deeps Anchor, Moth Motif, Blush Rose, and Tattoo Series, all of which can be viewed HERE.
Brantley Gilbert Has Joined BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville
Gilbert’s new line of swag comes ahead of his recent announcement as the newest signee to BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. The label revealed the news during Gilbert’s Tattoos Tour stop at First Bank Amphitheater in Franklin, Tenn., earlier this month.
“I’m fired up to kick off this next chapter with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville,” Gilbert shared via a press release. “They support their artists in ways that really move the needle, and it means a lot that they believe in what we’re building and want to be a part of it. We’ve got some big things on the horizon, and I’m looking forward to having this crew in my corner as we take it to the next level.”
