I mean that’s what I’ve been comfortable with for years,” DeBoer said. “It does get washed. I promise you that. There’s been a couple of hot games in the last couple weeks.”
DeBoer even revealed that his loved ones are now pumping up the hoodie hype.
“It’s funny that it’s taken a little bit of a life there and keep the guys in my family, my daughters, they see it all,” DeBoer said. “They’re even kind of putting the pressure on me. ‘Coach you can’t let us down.’ I didn’t mean for it to be that way. It was just kind of what I was comfortable with over the years and it’s kind of taken a life of its own crazy enough.”
We’ll see how the hoodie holds up on Saturday when the eighth-ranked Crimson Tide head to Columbia to face the unbeaten and 14th-ranked Tigers (noon ET/ABC).
