The Blackhawks will host the home opener for their Centennial season with the Montreal Canadiens skating into town on Saturday. On Wednesday, the team announced some of the details for the ceremonies and events surrounding this year’s home opener.
Alumni Attending
As always, the notable Blackhawks alumni taking part in the red carpet is subject to change. But the team announced Corey Crawford, Brian Campbell, Adam Burish, Chris Chelios, Eddie Olczyk, Jeremy Roenick and Denis Savard will be among the alumni to share the celebration with the fans.
There will also be a pregame ceremony hosted by Pat Foley that will include special Centennial productions and the player introductions. That should start around 5:45, with the game beginning just after 6 PM.
