Music icon Cyndi Lauper stunned fans with her latest announcement, as the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" singer revealed that she will be taking part in her first Las Vegas residency ever next spring.
The 72-year-old shared an official poster for the residency on Instagram as she revealed the big news, with the photo showing Lauper posing in an edgy black outfit, resting her chin in one hand. She wore an elaborate sequined and beaded headpiece that immediately drew the eye.
"I am excited to announce my first-ever Las Vegas residency," she began the caption, noting that the show, called Cyndi Lauper: Live In Las Vegas, will take place from April 24 to May 2 of next year, with five shows in total.
