    Mike Wolfe Shared a First Look at His New History Channel Project

    "Filming a new project for @history," he captioned the update. "Anyone recognize this petrol explorer? This new show I promise will have great story and artifacts. Thank you buddy for jumping on this ride The Legendary @magnuswalker IN THE HOUSE!"

    Although Wolfe didn't specify what the project was, he announced a new show in March called History’s Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe.

    History’s Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe will feature eight 60-minute episodes as Wolfe “dives into the stories behind legendary treasures, relics and artifacts from across history," according to a news release from Cineflix Productions. The series will be executive produced by J.C. Mills, Tanya Blake and Wolfe, in addition to Max Micallef for the History Channel. As of writing, the network has not announced a premiere date.

    “I’ve been on the road filming American Pickers for over a decade, tracking down hidden gems in the most unexpected places and connecting with fascinating people who are preserving history,” Wolfe said in the news release.

    He continued, “I’m looking forward to embarking on a new adventure, while continuing my lifelong passion of picking with this series. Viewers are in for a ride through the greatest finds of all time.”
