ROCHESTER, N.Y. — For almost a year, there’s been the big green “coming soon,” signs on the Starbucks in Downtown Rochester. Now, it has officially opened.
The Starbucks is located in the Five Star Bank building at the corner of Broad and Chestnut Streets. News10NBC crews stopped by Thursday to see the doors open for customers.
Back in July, News10NBC’s Emily Putnam shared photos of what the cafe looks like inside.

As downtown welcomes this new location, the Starbucks on Park Avenue has closed, with paper now covering the doors and windows.
On Sept. 26, the company announced it would be closing hundreds of stores across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, including the one on Park Avenue.
