Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar made a rare appearance in a family video for a special occasion—to celebrate the 19 Kids and Counting matriarch's 59th birthday.
On Sept. 30, the eldest Duggar daughter, Jana Duggar,published a video on her YouTube channel of a family trip and celebration for Michelle, who turned 59 on Sept. 13.

In the vlog, Jana and her husband, Stephen Wissmann—who are expecting their first child—traveled to Florida on vacation with many members of the Duggar family. The former TLC stars stayed in a massive rental home near the beach for the getaway.
Fans were able to watch the Duggars hanging out, playing games, shopping, spending time at the beach and in the water, enjoying food, attending a pirate show and more.
Jim Bob and Michelle were seen briefly walking together while holding hands as the family arrived at the dinner show. In another clip, the Duggar grandkids showered Michelle with gifts and birthday wishes. Meanwhile, Jim Bob posed for photos with family members in a different clip.
Michelle and Jim Bob have kept a relatively low profile since 19 Kids and Counting was canceled. Although they sometimes appeared in the spinoff, Counting On, the focus of the series was on their older kids as they courted, got engaged and started families. TLC also canceled Counting On following another scandal involving Michelle and Jim Bob's eldest son, Josh Duggar, who is currently in prison; the last episode aired in September 2020.
In the YouTube comments, fans loved the rare glimpse of Michelle and Jim Bob in Jana's video. Many also shared belated birthday wishes.
