“Their spread offense is something I’ve compared it a lot this week to the modern version of the triple option,” Mike Elko told reporters. “They spread you sideline to sideline… It’s a challenge. They force you to cover the whole field, vertically and horizontally.”

Elko and his defensive staff are looking to build off that game, and continue its strong play as the Aggies get deeper into SEC play. Being able to win a low-scoring, defensive type of game shows this team is capable of winning in many different games. With games against elite defenses like Texas and LSU later in the season, the Aggies have to be able to win low-scoring games if they are going to be a true contender to make it to the College Football Playoff.
Kickoff between the two teams is at 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will be on the SEC Network.
