PEMBROKE, N.Y. — Two of the people hurt in August’s deadly tour bus crash on the Thruway in Pembroke are suing the driver and bus company.

News10NBC’s affiliate WGRZ in Buffalo reports that the lawsuit accuses the driver and company of failing to exercise proper care, claiming negligence on their end.
The passengers who filed the lawsuit, Mohammed Rahman and Zakir Hossain, from Long Island, are still being treated for their injuries from the crash.
There were 53 passengers on the bus total, with five people pronounced dead at the scene and 47 people injured. Authorities are still investigating the crash, alongside the National Transportation Safety Board. (NTSB)
