Over the weekend, Chelsie Baham and Joseph Abdin sparked dating rumors when they posted a selfie together with the heart emoji.
While attending House Chops Los Angeles’ Big Brother finale watch party on Sunday, September 28, the pair each decided to address the romance rumors head on.
“So listen, I’ve kept this secret for a long time. People are always wondering, ‘Who is Chelsie dating? Is she single? What’s going on?’” Chelsie, 28, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Sunday. “And you guys may have seen pictures with me and Joseph from Season 24, and I just have to set the record straight that we are in fact not dating.”

The winner of Big Brother season 26, however, did say she is single and seemingly ready to mingle.
“But here’s the thing — you never know,” she added with a laugh. “Joseph, love you. Call me.”
In a separate interview at Sunday’s watch party — held at Beaches Tropicana in West Hollywood, California — Joseph, 28, also seemingly confirmed he is not dating Chelsie.

Instead of worrying about a man, Chelsie was focused on celebrating another woman winning Big Brother.
On Sunday, Ashley Hollis was crowned the winner of season 27 in a 6-1 vote during the season’s live finale. Vince Panaro was runner-up, while Morgan Pope placed third.
Although Chelsie was “shocked” with the results, she couldn’t be more excited to welcome Ashley into the winner’s circle.

To have the opportunity to sit next to fellow winner Taylor Hale and congratulate Ashley in person is something Chelsie won’t soon forget, either.
“Being able to go and actually hug Ashley and tell her, ‘Welcome, we are so proud.’ We have not seen anything like this at Big Brother,” Chelsie gushed. “What I love about this group is there’s no competitiveness. We are just so happy for each other. There’s enough space for all of us, and we make space for Ashley. She’s amazing.”
Now that Big Brother has come to an end, the focus now turns to The Amazing Race. For season 38, Chelsie is paired up with her dad, Jack Baham, while Joseph is competing alongside his brother, Adam Abdin.

While viewers will have to watch and see which pair lasts the longest, the show doesn’t appear to have damaged Chelsie and Joseph’s friendship.
“We’re just friends, but who knows where this could take us?” Chelsie teased to Us. “It could be a rumor-turned-romance. So we’ll see. My heart is open, and so is my phone so call me, Joseph.”
