Gere, 76, and Silva, 42, who married in 2018, hit the front row of the Giorgio Armani fashion show during Milan Fashion Week over the weekend in Italy. Gere dazzled in a traditional tux, with his white hair combed back. Silva paired a strapless silver gown with unique swirls and beaded details with drop earrings and a smoky eye. With his arm around his wife, Gere looked happier than ever.

Gere has a long history with the fashion of Giorgio Armani. He wore his designs in the 1980 film, American Gigolo, in which he played a male escort that services upper-class women.
Following the news that the legendary Italian fashion designer died earlier this month at age 91, Gere shared a passionate statement of respect for him.
“Giorgio was certainly an original. An artist. A visionary of sorts. With the eyes and hand of a craftsman, and the soul of a painter. His work had his essence all over it. And he cared right up to the end. Uncompromising,” Gere said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “I know there were those who he terrified because of his exacting nature. To me he was a supremely talented pussycat.”
