Our goal for our students, employees, and families has always been to provide the best quality education while keeping health and safety a priority. Our original plan was for all students to return to in-person learning on February 16th. After careful consideration and consultation with local health officials, review of CDC guidelines, and input from school personnel, Smith County Schools has developed a plan to safely return students to in-person learning. All Smith County Schools’ grades 3rd and 4th will be returning to in-person learning 4 days per week (M, T, TH, F) at all schools on February 4th. Our goal is to bring all Pre-K through 12th grade students to in-person learning 5
