Yes! CBS has not officially made the announcement yet that Big Brother 28 is in the works. But in August 2025, the show opened up its casting form for people looking to become a part of the next group of houseguests.
When does Big Brother 28 premiere?
The release date for Big Brother 28 hasn't been set yet. Given the past handful of recent seasons, we should expect the premiere to happen sometime in the first two weeks of July 2026.
Much like we don't know the Big Brother 28 premiere date, we also don't know the finale. Recent seasons typically run between 80-100 days, finishing up somewhere around the end of September or beginning of October 2026.
What nights does Big Brother air?
Big Brother 28 will most likely continue the show's usual airing schedule. Tha means, with a couple of exceptions, episodes should air on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

What is the prize for Big Brother28?
The prize money for Big Brother 28 will most likely be $750,000. That's the amount it was starting in Season 23, an increase from $500,000 in the previous 22 seasons.
It remains to be seen if Big Brother 28 will have returning houseguests. After taking a break from bringing back players following the all-star season in 2020, Season 13 winner Rachel Reilly became the surprise "Mystery Houseguest" in Season 27. She ultimately finished in ninth, taken out in the highly controversial "White Locust" twist.

For the entirety of the season, houseguests live in a two-story house outfitted with 94 HD cameras and more than 113 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. The house is located on CBS Studio Center sound stage 18 in Los Angeles. Big Brother 26 utilizes a house whose aesthetic has been curated by AI "prompts," from a fantasy fairy forest to islands in the sky of a sci-fi planet.

Who is the host of Big Brother 28?
Julie Chen Moonves will assumingly be the host of Big Brother 27, and has hosted the show since its first season in 2000. She has a noted history as an anchor and talk show host on CBS, previously appearing on The Early Show, CBS This Morning and CBS Morning News.
