ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Monroe Avenue between Shepard and Rosedale Streets has reopened after being closed due to a water main break earlier this month.

On Sept. 13, a pipe burst, which caused significant flooding and impacted local residents. Officials say the pipe that burst was installed in 1905.

    Crews installed a new 36-inch pipe and tested it. Crews also are repairing damages to underground and above-ground infrastructure.
