Little House on the Prairie alum Melissa Gilbert was one of many supporters who sent messages of love and condolences to the family of teen influencer Zuza Beine after her death on September 22.
Beine's family shared via the teen's Instagram page, "It is with broken hearts that we share that Zuza died yesterday morning."
"She lived 11 of her 14 years with a relentless cancer, yet lived more fully and gratefully than most. Her being changed us forever, and her dying will too."

As WISN shared, Beine was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia when she was 3. According to the American Cancer Society, acute myeloid leukemia starts in the bone marrow and can quickly spread through the blood. As it progresses, it commonly spreads to areas such as the lymph nodes, central nervous system, spleen, and liver.
The teen, whose family lives in Waukesha, Wisconsin, started a TikTok account to document her life, and it grew to nearly 3 million followers. Another 2.1 million people followed Beine on Instagram, as well.
Gilbert was one of many celebrities who followed Beine on her difficult journey. Her fellow When Calls the Heart co-star, Jack Wagner, did too, as did Kelly Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne, singer Lance Bass, "Stick Season" singer Noah Kahan, and many others.
Shortly after Beine's family announced Zuza's death, Gilbert left a touching comment. She began, "I'm so so sorry to hear this. Zuza was and will always be such an inspiration to me personally."
She continued, "She was honest, forthright and real. She was brave and kind and open. The world will be a [dimmer] place without her."
Gilbert sent her love to all of the teen's loved ones and added, "No more pain Zuza, for you now there is only beauty and peace."
Kahan also commented on the post, noting, "We will never forget her. I'm heartbroken. It'll forever be my favorite memory singing along with her backstage." His comment was liked by over 50,000 people, who were quite touched by his note.
Just a couple of weeks before she died, Beine shared a raw video on social media that had Kahan's "Growing Sideways" playing in the background. In July, the teen posted a video on TikTok that showed her lip-syncing to another of Kahan's songs. She wrote, "No one loves Noah Kahan as much as I love Noah Kahan I stand by that."

Funds now donated to the GoFundMe after Beine's death will go to help her extended family. The page explained that shortly before the teen's death, her uncle unexpectedly died, leaving behind his wife and children, so funds will go to support them.
In the Instagram post announcing the teen's death, the Beine family noted, "It is no coincidence to us that the last video she made captures what she was grateful for—a testament to a life filled with both beauty and suffering."
