Julia Louis-Dreyfus may have just spilled the beans on her role in Avengers: Doomsday.
The Marvel actress, who has portrayed Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in several MCU movies, hasn't been officially confirmed to appear in the upcoming film — but some recent comments are leading fans to believe that viewers will see her on the big screen once again.
While numerous other stars were previously announced in a promo for the flick, including Robert Downey Jr., Channing Tatum and Pedro Pascal, Louis-Dreyfus was notably missing.
During an appearance onJimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday evening (September 25), Louis-Dreyfus at first played coy when she was asked about her involvement in Avengers: Doomsday.
"No. No," Louis-Dreyfus said when asked if she was returning, before changing her answer to "I can't answer that question."
After some back-and-forth banter with host Jimmy Kimmel, who agreed that her answers were a little "suspect," she said it was "correct" that fans would have to wait to find out what happens in theaters.
Kimmel didn't give up on getting answers though, attempting to trick Louis-Dreyfus by asking again in the midst of a discussion about how she had met TikTok sensation The Rizzlerwhile on the press tour for Thunderbolts*.
"Is there any possibility that when you're doing press for Avengers: Doomsday that you will have another visit with The Rizzler?" Kimmel asked.
"I suppose so!" Louis-Dreyfus responded, adding that she would be "happy to pose for a picture with him."
Kimmel proudly took that as confirmation that Louis-Dreyfus would be doing press for Avengers: Doomsday — meaning that she'd be appearing in the film.
Louis-Dreyfus attempted to backtrack on her comments, explaining that it may have "seemed" like she was doing press for the film, but she didn't actually confirm anything.
In the end, the pair agreed that there was perhaps some "misunderstanding" going on — and fans would have to wait to see what happens when the film hits theaters on Dec. 18, 2026.
