(KRON) -- San Jose police said a motorcyclist has died after a collision with a vehicle Thursday night that also hospitalized a juvenile.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. A juvenile from that vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police said both directions of Branham Lane from Robb Drive to Jarvis Avenue will be shut down for "several hours" while detectives investigate the crash.
