The Arizona Cardinals elevated practice squad running back Michael Carter and defensive lineman Anthony Goodlow to the active roster before their Thursday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Carter adds depth to the team with starting running back James Conner’s season over.
Trey Benson slides into the top running back slot, with Emari Demercado expected to be next up and Bam Knight also on the roster.
Carter was a 2023 midseason pickup who got six games of action in the back half of that campaign. He averaged 6.8 yards over 22 carries that year before his role was reduced last season.
