Star Trek star William Shatner was reportedly rushed to the hospital following a health scare.
William, 94, reportedly suffered a health complication connected to an issue with his blood sugar in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday, September 24, according to source reports by TMZ.
The Boston Legal actor reportedly called in for medical attention and was later transported to a local hospital in a Los Angeles Fire Department paramedic vehicle, according to the outlet. That said, William is reportedly “resting comfortably” after the reported incident.
William has not publicly addressed his reported hospitalization. Parade reached out to William's team for comment.

In 2016, William, known for his role as Captain Kirk on Star Trek, was faced with fear when doctors thought he had prostate cancer, but it ended up being a false alarm. He was taking testosterone pills, which elevated his PSA levels.

However, William suffers from tinnitus, a ringing or buzzing in the ear when no sound is present.
“Over the years, I’ve had many ups and downs with my tinnitus,” he said in a June clip on the Tinnitus Quest website. “I know from firsthand experience just how difficult it can get. I’ve also observed how tinnitus has affected friends and colleagues.”
