Fantasy Football TE Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:

Isaiah Likely (Ravens) was the highest recommended TE waiver wire pickup this week.

    Analysis

Isaiah Likely, Ravens — Rostered in 15% of Yahoo Leagues (Suggested 4-6% FAAB Bid, Pending MNF)

Disclaimer: As I originally penned and published this article on Sunday night, the Ravens have yet to play (they go Monday night against Detroit) and Likely has yet to appear in a game (foot injury). However, reports suggest that Likely will return soon, and he may return to a role as the TE1.

Through the first two weeks, Mark Andrews had been nearly invisible, recording just two catches for seven yards on the season. Zay Flowers has carried the passing attack — with 42.6% of the targets — but Lamar Jackson could use a solid second target. If the 30-year-old Andrews isn’t going to be that guy, it’s possible the younger, spryer Likely could be. We’ve set the starting bid around 5% pending Monday night’s results, but if Likely plays and plays well, that could skyrocket.

Recommendation: Should be added in 12-team leagues

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football TE Rankings?

Brenton Strange is the best tight end stash ahead of Week 4.

    Analysis

    Brenton Strange @ 49ers (25%)

For whatever reason, Brenton Strange’s top-10 finish last week lands him at a lower rostership in this week’s article. I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that managers who may have started him over the likes of Hunter Henry or Mark Andrews dropped him out of frustration, but that bodes well for those of us who need a floor play heading into Week 4.

Strange ranks 14th among the tight end position with 0.21 targets per route run, racking up 19 through three weeks on a Jaguars team that is having a hard time locking in a WR2 behind Brian Thomas Jr. The usage is consistent, the volume is bankable, and he’s clearly emerged as one of Trevor Lawrence’s safety blankets when things break down.

This 49ers defense likely would have been a stay-away before they were hit with another rash of injuries, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, and most notably, Nick Bosa’s torn ACL. The Jaguars are in a spot where the offense could finally start clicking, and that would benefit Strange’s bottom line. He is available in 75% of Yahoo leagues and remains one of the best low-cost streamers for Week 4.
