Vacaville Police said an apartment building was evacuated after a truck crashed into it and caused a water and gas leak on Tuesday.
The crash was on the 700 block of Markham Avenue just before 5 p.m., police said.
Officers arrived at the scene and found that there was a water and gas leak in the area, and began a preliminary evacuation of the area. The leaks were then shut off by Public Works and PG&E.
The area remained closed, however, as of 6:23 p.m., so that crews could safely remove the pick-up truck.
Police have not said what led to the crash.
