Arizona men’s basketball revealed its Big 12 conference schedule for the 2025-26 season after teasing a trio of standalone, primetime Big Monday games on ESPN.
The nonconference campaign begins in Las Vegas on Nov. 3 with the defending national champion Florida Gators in the Hall of Fame Series. A long-standing rivalry series with UCLA continues on Nov. 14, also at a neutral site in the Los Angeles Clippers’ Intuit Dome.
The Wildcats bowed out against Duke in the Sweet 16 of last season’s NCAA Tournament and finished 24-13 (14-6 in Big 12). In coach Tommy Lloyd’s fourth year at the helm, fifth-year senior Caleb Love led the charge with 17.2 points per game and Arizona fell to Houston in the Big 12 championship game.
Arizona closed No. 15 in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll after opening the season No. 10 and falling completely out the rankings just seven games in.
Since the March madness and Arizona’s inaugural season in the Big 12, the Wildcats have lost Love (two-way contract with the Portland Trail Blazers), Carter Bryant (No. 14 overall pick to the San Antonio Spurs) and KJ Lewis (transferred to Georgetown).
However, additions of top American high school prospects in Koa Peat, Brayden Burries and Netherlands’ Dwayne Aristode, plus Bryce James, a son of LeBron James, have replenished the team with youth. Arizona also retained impact players in forward Tobe Awaka and guard Jaden Bradley.
