As I mentioned earlier today, the good news is that Tucker got right back to business last year with the Astros after a lengthy absence, so he’s shown he can hit on a dime before (a la Kyle Schwarber in the 2016 World Series). But Hoyer’s right: you’d prefer to see Tucker in some regular season games first, even if for no other reason than these games still matter for locking down the top Wild Card spot.
