PEMBROKE, N.Y. — All six of the victims that the University of Rochester Medical Center took in after August’s deadly bus crash in Pembroke have been released.
The crash on I-90 in Genesee County left five people dead and a total of 47 people hospitalized in both Rochester and Buffalo. URMC has confirmed that all patients have been discharged as of Tuesday, Sept. 16. The crash happened on Aug. 22.
The tour bus was returning to New York City from Niagara Falls with 54 people on board when it overturned just before 12:30 p.m. The NTSB released its preliminary report on the crash and says all aspects of the crash remain under investigation.
