ALAMEDA, Calif. (KRON) -- A sizable earthquake jolted the East Bay shortly before 3 a.m. Monday. The quake, a preliminary magnitude 4.6, had its epicenter about a mile east of Berkeley.
The quake struck at 2:56 a.m. at a depth of 7.8 kilometers.
The quake was reportedly felt across the East Bay in Walnut Creek, Martinez, and Alameda, and even across the Bay in San Francisco and Sausalito. There were no preliminary reports of damages or injuries.
