CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- One person is dead after a shooting at a nightclub in Uptown, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, off-duty officers heard shots fired near the 200 block of N. Caldwell Street. That's at the Brooklyn Nightclub and Lounge.
When they arrived, they found someone with gunshot wounds, and they were pronoucned dead at the scene, officials said.
Police have not said what led to the shooting or if anyone is in custody.
