AUSTIN (KXAN) -- On Saturday, a baby was found abandoned in a north Austin dumpster in the 8600 block of North Lamar Boulevard, according to the Austin Police Department.
APD said the baby was found "safe" and was taken to a nearby hospital.
APD was unable to provide a time for when the baby was found in the dumpster.
