A female motorcyclist is dead after a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 225 near Smith Road in Aurora.
Northbound lanes of the interstate between Colfax Avenue and Interstate 70 are expected to be closed for about one more hour, according to an Aurora Police Department post on X.com. Traffic is being diverted to 17th Place.
The 2:53 p.m. crash sent the woman riding the motorcycle to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The unidentified woman died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
