Iowa is 2-1 with its loss coming to Iowa State 16-13 in week 2. The Scarlet Knights will get a true test this week.

For Iowa, quarterback Mark Gronowski was much better in last week’s win against Massachusetts as he threw for 179 yards with 2 touchdown passes. In week 1, he had just 44 yards passing and followed that with 83 in week 2. Gronowski is a transfer from South Dakota State, where he threw 93 career touchdown passes and over 10,000 yards from 2020-24.
