ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 51-year-old man has been found guilty of shooting and killing a 48-year-old man on Thurston Road in February.
Prosecutors say on Feb. 9, Malcolm Bryant got into a fight with the victim’s friend inside a bar. After they had left, Bryant approached the victim, Robert Prescott, and his friend, and shot at them from behind.
Prescott was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Bryant was convicted of murder in the second degree, attempted murder in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He is set to be sentenced in November.
