A man was found dead Tuesday after allegedly being assaulted inside of an apartment in El Cajon.
Deputies responded at around 1:35 a.m. Tuesday to reports of a male victim suffering from traumatic injuries at 425 E. Bradley Ave. at the Terraza Hills Apartments, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
First responders began CPR and assumed lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead. His name has not yet been released.
A possible suspect was at large, but a description was not immediately available.
The circumstances surrounding the assault were under investigation, sheriff’s officials said.
