Peninsula school district officials celebrated the groundbreaking of the Miraleste Intermediate School Swimming Pool Improvement Project on Sunday, Sept. 14.
The pool will undergo more than $2 million in renovations, which are expected to be completed early 2026.
The pool renovations are the first major project as part of the $300 million Measure SOS school bond measure voters passed in November.
Many of the facilities within the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District have not been updated in decades, including the pool at Miraleste.
