ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Our splendid late summer weather will continue for another week here in Rochester. It’s been great, but we are in need of some rain! We’re rain-free Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures in the low 50s overnight, and mid to upper 70s during the afternoons. We may flirt with 80 degrees, but a northeasterly wind and lake breeze will keep us nice and comfortable.
An area of low pressure riding up along the East Coast will spread a little bit of added cloud cover into our region on Wednesday, but no precipitation. Our next chance of rain won’t arrive until Friday as a moisture-starved cold front moves through. Even with the front, we only expect a few hit and miss showers.
If you’re going to Orchard Park to see the Bills take on the Dolphins on Thursday, the weather looks great once again, with highs in the 70s for tailgating, and 60s during the game.
