This New Peanut Butter at Costco Has Shoppers Buzzing

If peanut butter is a staple in your house, you may have noticed something missing from Costco shelves recently. For weeks, shoppers reported that those familiar red-topped Kirkland jars had quietly disappeared.

But this week brought a glimmer of hope for peanut butter and jelly fans everywhere. In place of Kirkland’s organic peanut butter, Costco has introduced Naturally More, and it’s already stirring up quite a buzz.

Take a look at this video shared on September 14 to see what you’ll find on your next shopping trip:

Last week, Toni (@strengthhealing) broke the news that Kirkland's organic peanut butter wasn’t coming back after checking with a store employee. Now, Naturally More, with its clean white and green packaging, is taking its place.

The ingredients are simple: Organic peanuts and sea salt, nearly identical to the Kirkland formula. Even better, the price comes in slightly lower. A two-pack sells for $8.59, about 40 cents less than the Kirkland brand.

So, does it taste the same? That’s where opinions divide. Toni herself admitted, “I had a small taste, but I’m gonna use it the way I did Kirkland’s and see if it’s as good. It might be in my head, but it didn’t taste the same. Still creamy and good.”

Viewer @BigMinnie had a more positive take: “Much easier to stir and has good flavor.” Another fan agreed, saying, “I like it better! I was pleasantly surprised.”

But not everyone was convinced. @KathyLanglois noted, “I bought it, and I actually just returned it, was not a fan.”

And @BethMPetersen chimed in, “Glad there is something else to try!”

The most common complaint so far? Naturally More seems runnier than Kirkland’s version, which some shoppers don’t mind, but others find off-putting.

    Costco’s Return Policy

If you give the new peanut butter a try, and it doesn’t win your taste buds, Costco’s generous return policy has you covered. According to the company website, you can bring it back for a full refund at any location. So, there’s really nothing to lose.

While Naturally More isn’t winning everyone over just yet, it’s giving shoppers an option when they thought they’d lost their favorite spread entirely. Sometimes, change is hard, so with an open mind and a little time, we might find we like it even better.
