The 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards kicked off at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and we spotted some trends on the red carpet.
Hot pink, blush pink, cotton candy pink, there wasn’t a hue that wasn’t spotted on the Emmys red carpet tonight. Another significant trend involved variations of black and white color-block gowns and tuxedo looks, many of which nodded to old Hollywood glamour. Metallic and liquid looks also ruled the night at the Emmys, which many stars stunned in silvers, shiny blacks, bronzes and gun metal greys.

Pretty in Pink

And “White Lotus” stars Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood, and Lisa all arrived at the 77th Emmys wearing pink numbers in various hues. Emmy-nominated Posey donned a custom Valentino gown featuring a feather-trimmed, cropped cape and a (very) ruffled skirt. Wood, also up for an Emmy, wore a blush pink and red color-block gown with a bustier-style bodice and a pencil skirt that nods to old Hollywood glamour. Lisa was a cotton-candy vision in her Lever Couture gown that brought the drama with a sweeping train and fabric that swirled around her hips and shoulders.
