Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are getting ready to walk down the aisle.
On Sunday, Sept. 14, during the 2025 Emmy Awards red carpet, the country music icon, 70, and Linn, 68, who have been dating for five years, seemingly confirmed they will soon be married. People also confirmed the happy news after the couple spoke with E! News correspondent Zuri Hall outside of the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., ahead of the awards show.

While chatting with the couple about their NBC sitcom Happy's Place, Zuri referred to Linn as McEntire's fiancé and costar, to which the "I'm a Survivor" songstress happily nodded and replied, "We're having a blast on Happy's Place and so glad to be here tonight."
In an X video of the red carpet interview, viewers definitely noticed that neither McEntire nor Linn corrected Zuri's "fiancé" comment.
One person pointed out, "They literally nodded in agreement when she said fiancé."
Another wrote, "I think they are secretly engaged, he smiled she said yeah! Maybe they are tired of keeping it a secret."
Someone else exclaimed, "Fiancée?!"

During the awards show itself, McEntire was among a trio of singers who performed the theme song to The Golden Girls in honor of its milestone anniversary.
For the 2025 Emmys, Reba donned a black, floor-length gown with a sparkly black blazer. She wore her signature red hair down, accessorizing with hoop earrings and layered necklaces. Meanwhile, Linn rocked a black suit and a black tie.

In April, McEntire told E! News that she was open to saying "I do" to Linn in what would be her third marriage.
"If that's something he feels totally strong about, that's fine with me," McEntire told the outlet. "He's never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I'm OK with that."
McEntire was married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987. In 1989, she tied the knot with Narvel Blackstock before they called it quits in 2015.
