ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Our fine late summer weather continues as there has been little or no precipitation for over the last ten days. But as much as we enjoy the dry and sunny conditions, this stretch of fair weather leaves Western New York in a moderate drought. This will continue for the second week of September as there is no chance of rain for the next five or six days.
Tonight. look for mainly clear and cool night with the low temperature in the middle 50s. Monday and Tuesday brings more sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s. And the trend is towards unseasonably warm weather for Wednesday and Thursday as the mercury pushes into the lower 80s. That amount of warmth is more typical for the middle of August. The first chance for any rain is probably not until the end of next weekend.
