Abdelatty noted that this mutual desire was reflected in the recent communications between the Egyptian President and the British Prime Minister, the latest of which was on September 11.
During the call, the Foreign Minister reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, particularly the dire state of humanitarian conditions there. He stressed Egypt’s absolute rejection of Israel’s ongoing crimes, the genocide being committed, and the obstruction of aid.
He also condemned Israel’s systematic policy of using starvation as a weapon to force the Palestinian people to emigrate from their land, something Egypt rejects “under any name or pretext.”
It is the international community’s responsibility to put an end to these blatant crimes and intervene to stop the war, he stressed.
