Charlie Kirk‘s wife, Erika (Frantzve) Kirk, broke her silence on the conservative activist’s death two days after her husband was fatally shot—prompting The Bachelor star Peter Weber to make a bold prediction about her.
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, died at age 31 after he was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. The alleged gunman was taken into custody on Friday, Sept. 12, after a days-long manhunt.

Kirk's wife, Erika, live-streamed her public statement on his death via X on Friday evening. That same night, she made an impassioned promise in an Instagram post. Erika returned to her Instagram grid the day to post the video of her Friday statement.

In the comments of Erika's video, during which she made an emotional vow to carry on her husband's conservative activism legacy, Instagram followers lauded her strength after the death of her husband.
Weber—who appeared on The Bachelor Season 24 and is known by his nickname "Pilot Pete"—boldly took to the comment section, declaring, "Watch this courageous woman become our President one day and let Charlie’s legacy live through her."
To that, someone else wrote, "@pilot_pete I told my husband the same thing earlier this evening.. imagine @mrserikakirk being the first, President Madame."
Someone else agreed, writing, "For real the strength and composure here is more than impressive. I would trust her with a red button."
Another wrote, "The path is lit...and we are all soldiering behind her ??," as a second shared, "I would vote for her," and a third echoed, "I thought exactly the same thing."
However, others disagreed with Weber, with one Instagram user writing, "Respectfully, absolutely not. She's in danger of just being a puppet for the benefit of others. That's not a life to live, that's a prison sentence."
