OGDEN, N.Y. – Police in Ogden tracked down three burglary suspects on Tuesday after they abandoned a car on Barkwood Lane.
The following morning, officers found a fourth suspect, Shane Hewitt, sleeping in the basement of a home on Eagle Feather Circle. Officials said Hewitt broke into the house without anyone knowing and stole food from the fridge while the residents were asleep.

Hewitt was charged with burglary and petit larceny. He was arraigned and released.
