Users' information was accessed by several third parties, as well as Cambridge Analytica, which was exposed as using this information to gather data on voters for several Republican candidates and campaigns, including President Donald Trump's 2016 race against Hillary Clinton, CBS News reported. However, that doesn't mean every single user within that timeframe will get a piece of the pie: The deadline to file a claim expired on Aug. 25, 2023.If you did file for a claim, the form included a question about how you'd like to receive your funds, with options including check, ACH direct deposit, a virtual pre-paid MasterCard, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle. As long as that info was submitted on time, correctly and approved, you don't have to do anything else—the money will simply land in whichever account you specified, with the exception of PayPal and a paper check. If you used PayPal, you'll have to be sure to accept the money into your account when notified, and if you got a check, you'll have to deposit it into your bank account.Related: Oasis Fans Mock Mark Zuckerberg at Los Angeles Concert
