THE Only Way Is Essex stars Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook have shared promising news about their path to parenthood.
The reality TV duo are determined not to give up after two years of trying for a baby.
Sophie Kasaei, 35, and Jordan Brook, 30, have long been open about their desire to have a baby and their struggles to conceive.
Speaking to The Sun at the NTAs this week, the couple revealed the promising news about a potential breakthrough in their ongoing fertility journey.
Sophie explained: “We’ve just been to Athens for fertility treatment, which has worked out really, really well. We’ve found what has been going on, so hopefully from now it’s going to be successful.”
She admitted: “We really talk about it openly on our socials. For us to do that as well is hard. It’s not easy but we know we’re helping people.”
TV star Jordan added: “Sometimes it gets a lot. When you’re filming Towie, you find you sometimes repeat yourself a bit to other people.
“You’ve got to film with everyone, so you’re talking about it a lot. It can get quite overwhelming.
“Whereas now we’ve finally been away in our own bubble and we’ve got some amazing results. Really positive news that we haven’t had for a while. So, 29 months in…
Sophie continued: “Fingers crossed. It’s been hard to navigate, but for me and Jordan, every day is a new day for us. It’s a massive learning curve.
“We’ve been together now for three years. Every year, it’s very, very different.
“I think we’ve learned so much about each other and the way that we are in response to certain things. We’re a team.”
Jordan encouraged couples to be transparent with each other – and for men to open up about their emotions.
He said: “Learning about each other and communicating is key. I was a sucker for it – a typical man who never talked.
“Whereas now I’m trying to be more of an advocate for blokes to speak about things.
“Whether you’re trying to conceive, whether you might have had a miscarriage, lost a baby, all that stuff affects the man and the woman.
“I’d go to work and run away – I’ve done it a million times. I’m trying to change my ways.”
Speaking about whether they ever regretted over-sharing their journey, Sophie admitted: “When we were sitting editing the videos, I did say to Jordan, maybe that’s a bit too much.
“We were thinking about adding utensils that they used for the treatment – but maybe that’s a little bit too much.
“I do think what you’re putting out with certain things, we want to be really respectful to everyone else as well in their journey.”
Jordan agreed: “Everybody’s journey is different. Every trying-to-conceive journey is completely different.”
Sophie first rose to fame in MTV‘s Geordie Shore before she joined her long-term partner Jordan in The Only Way Is Essex.
In September last year, Jordan revealed that Sophie was undergoing fertility tests.
This was after Sophie revealed she was going to have endometriosis surgery as they first revealed their struggles.
Sophie was first diagnosed with the chronic condition in 2020.
