Yoane Wissa and Jacob Ramsey have added to Newcastle’s injury woes with the two summer signings set for a spell on the sidelines.
The Magpies face Wolves at St James’ Park on Saturday as they look to grab their first win of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
They are already without Anthony Gordon for a further two matches following the winger’s red card against Liverpool.
And now Wissa and Ramsey are out for the foreseeable future in a double blow for the Tyneside outfit.
Wissa linked up at Newcastle on deadline day in a £55million from Brentford.
Handed the iconic No.9 jersey, the DR Congo international will now be forced to wait for his debut.

And in worrying news, Howe admitted that the 29-year-old could see a specialist after going off with a knee knock during the international break.
He said during his pre-match press conference: “He won’t make this game.
“I saw him for the first time yesterday, he is feeling the effects of the injury he sustained before he came off so we will have to see how he is.
“He will go away for tests and maybe see a specialist to see.”
As for Ramsey, who joined from Aston Villa in a £40m deal, he has featured in Newcastle’s last two matches – including starting away at Leeds last time out.
But he had to go off injured at half-time during the 0-0 draw due to a swollen ankle.
