Benson Boone and his girlfriend, Maggie Thurmon, have split after nearly two years together, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
The insider exclusively tells Us that Boone and Thurmon, both 23, broke up earlier this week. The former couple have since unfollowed each other on Instagram as well.
Prior to calling it quits, Thurmon had attended many of Boone’s concerts, even as recently as Sunday, September 7, when he played Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Two days later, Boone told fans waiting outside his next show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville that he’d had “a rough day” but was “very happy to be on stage” to distract himself, according to a TikTok video.

Boone and Thurmon went public with their romance in March 2024 when they attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards viewing party in West Hollywood.

“[I love] her whole personality, who she is,” Boone told Entertainment Tonight that November. “She has great parents. She was raised very well. She’s just the sweetest and the kindest. And she’s a beautiful girl, so I can’t help it.”

Thurmon also supported Boone when he performed at the 2025 Grammys in February and on Saturday Night Live in May.

“Approximately four years and 172 days ago, I met my manager, and we made a goal that we would play Madison Square Garden someday — 1,633 days ago,” Boone said as his eyes welled up with tears. “I cannot tell you how much this means to me. In addition to singing more than 20 of his own songs, Boone does a surprise cover each night, from Adele’s “When We Were Young” to Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times.”
