Damascus – SANA- Minister of Energy, Mohammed al-Bashir, met Thursday with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, and his accompanying delegation to discuss the current state of Syria’s energy sector and explore opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Bashir outlined the challenges facing Syria’s energy sector due to the current circumstances, emphasizing the country’s commitment to expanding collaboration with friendly nations—particularly in oil, gas, and electricity—in a way that contributes to rehabilitating infrastructure and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
For his part, Minister Radman expressed Croatia’s interest in opening new avenues of cooperation with Syria in the energy field. He highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise and leveraging the capabilities of Croatian companies in exploration, production, and network development.
