Candace Cameron Bure issued a direct response to critics of her message about Charlie Kirk's death after his fatal shooting.
On Wednesday, Sep. 10, the Turning Point USA founder and conservative activist died at age 31. Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University; the suspect is still at large as a manhunt continues.

That same day, Cameron Bure, 49, took to Instagram with a heartfelt tribute for Kirk. Alongside a photo of him, the Full House star wrote, "We love you Charlie. Well done good and faithful servant." She added three broken-heart emojis in the caption.

Later on Wednesday, Cameron Bure returned to the social media platform, but this time via her Instagram Stories, with a lengthy response.
"I will never be pulled into social media politics, so don't even try," she declared in a repost from author Lisa Whittle. "Those who cannot make their own distinction between biblical mandates and political pandering - that is their problem to solve."
The Great American Family actress continued, "I am clear on what to say / keep quiet about on this often performative app. I have spoken out against racism, because it violates the Bible. I have spoken about taking the life of the unborn because it violates the Bible. And I will, today, speak out about violence such as what happened to Charlie kirk - blatant evil. The murder of a woman in Charlotte a few days ago - also blatant evil. Evil violates the Bible and the Kingdom of God. It is born out of the father of lies, Satan, who is out to kill, steal and destroy. There is no gray area. He is behind it all."
To conclude her response, Cameron Bure added, "So if you want to be mad at anyone, be mad at the evil one. If you want to do something about it, pray and repent and seek to live a life for the glory of God yourself. The time is short and the laborers are few. Preach the Word in and out of season. Love your neighbor. Turning on each other and blaming things and people is a great distraction of the evil one to get us unfocused on our life mission of Matt.28:19. I hope you hear my heart. I love you. Trust God to bring justice to the injustice of ALL. I'm so very grieved at all the EVIL. But God. The HOPE who will not disappoint. Romans 5:5."
