Selena Gomez is in the midst of planning her wedding to Benny Blanco.
In her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon with her Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Steve Martin on Sept. 9, the singer and actress, 33, opened up about wedding planning and revealed to Fallon that "it's going well."
"It's wonderful," she said. "I'm very lucky... I'm so excited." Martin then interjected and joked "I'm sure our invites will arrive any day now."
Gomez reassured both of her costars that they are both invited to the wedding and revealed Short's special role in the ceremony.
"Marty's the ring bearer," Gomez revealed before Short knelt down on one knee and acted out how he planned to present the ring to them at the alter.
“We are all so excited because we love this lady,” Short added before he joked that "we love her fiancé, Bad Bunny,” playfully mixing up the singer with Gomez's fiancé.

Short also recently made comments about Gomez's upcoming wedding to Blanco in his appearance on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast on Sept. 9.
“I just adore her,” Short told Poehler during his appearance. "I'm so happy that she's getting married to this fabulous guy, Benny Blanco, who's just one of the great, cool guys and funny and loose, and she adores him.”
He also added that he's "thrilled for her happiness" and to "get to work with her" on Only Murders.
When did Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Get Engaged?
Gomez and Benny confirmed their engagement back in December 2024, after the couple went public with their relationship in Dec. 7, 2023.
The Rare Beauty founder took to Instagram at the time to show off her stunning engagement ring and the romantic picnic that Blanco set up for her for the proposal. In the caption, she wrote "forever begins now.”

While the pair haven't revealed the exact date of their wedding, Blanco confirmed in his joint Rolling Stoneinterview with Gomez back in March that “We’re very much ‘take it one day at a time’-type of people” when it comes to the wedding.
Gomez also reiterated that during her appearance on Therapuss with Jake Shane in August and revealed that she and Blanco plan to really dive into "all the nitty-gritty" around the wedding once their schedules open up.
She added that she “couldn't be more excited” and said "I have never really felt so sure about something."
