ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A couple from Los Angeles has been charged in a drug conspiracy involving fentanyl and cocaine shipments to the Rochester area.
Federal prosecutors said Tevin and Zakyia Williams shipped the drugs from their home in Sherman Oaks, California.
The investigation began in 2021 and continued through March 2023. After being charged, the couple fled to Trinidad and Tobago where U.S. Marshals found them.
The Williamses face up to 20 years in prison on drug conspiracy charges.
