After almost 20 years as a cornerstone of the Shoreditch scene, the first hotel in The Hoxton series is set for a fresh new look. As the brand has evolved and expanded, so too has the design and feel of a Hox: each property takes cues from its surrounding neighbourhoods, but there’s an intangible thread that runs through the series, creating an experience that is distinctly Hox. The Shoreditch refresh will celebrate and elevate the original and much-loved features of the property, while bringing that characteristic homey, layered and design-led Hox character even further to the fore. Alongside the reimagined design identity, led by Ennismore’s in-house design team at AIME Studios, comes a brand new restaurant concept in the form of Il Bambini Club, taking the baton from Hoxton Grill (the first ever Hox restaurant) and bringing the warmth of Italian hospitality to the lobby, with existing Peruvian hotspot Llama Inn still calling the hotel rooftop home.
